I have never ever seen Deauville but it is like I'd have always seen it and the little grain of sand - the description of Deauville beach which I met in a novel read in high school - lay in the depths of my child's subconscious and after years when I met my great love the shell that kept Deauville captive opened and brought to surface the Deauville of my love.
